Wix can handle all 4 website jobs non-profits and charities usually need, using its own features.
Online donations, including regular giving. Wix Donations takes one-off and recurring donations.
Fundraising event tickets. Wix Events sells tickets and takes RSVPs.
Supporter updates. A subscribe form adds visitors to your contact list for newsletters.
Volunteer and staff applications. Roles can be CMS items with their own dynamic pages, and applications come through a form.
Blog content does not export to another platform, so a later move means rebuilding it.
Taking payments and bookings online needs a paid plan.
Hosting is included with Wix plans.
Velo adds page code and backend code, and custom snippets can go in the site head or body.
Wix's own apps cover bookings, restaurants, events, donations and memberships.
